History of the Scribe Program

Scottsdale Emergency Associates is a democratic emergency physicians group working within the Scottsdale Healthcare system. In 2010 Scottsdale Emergency Associates developed a pilot program to explore the potential role of scribes in Scottsdale Healthcare's Emergency Departments. The program met with much success and has since entered an expansion phase. Under the leadership of Kris Samaddar, MD and Chief Scribe, Christina Hulse, the Scottsdale Emergency Associates scribe program has evolved into an integral addition to the emergency department team.
